Churchill County School District welcomed 3,342 students in 2022-23 school year

There were 3,342 students enrolled in Churchill County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.1% of them were boys, and 46.9% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 57.8% of the Churchill County School District's total enrollment.

Churchill County School District roughly covers six schools within Churchill County and has a main office in Fallon.

Among the six schools in Churchill County School District, Churchill County High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,054 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 15 students.
