Humboldt County School District: 79.2% of students failed their mathematics CCR tests during 2023-24 school year

Of the 206 Humboldt County School District students who took part in the College and Career Readiness Assessment (CCR) in the 2023-24 school year, 79.2% did not meet mathematics benchmarks, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

This is 1.4% below the statewide average of 80.6%.

Humboldt County School District roughly covers schools within Humboldt County and has a main office in Winnemucca.

The number of students who failed to meet expectations in the subject fell by 32.1% the previous school year.

In Humboldt County School District, most of the students who fell below proficiency were at the second lowest performance level.

In Nevada, the ACT serves as the College and Career Readiness assessment for high school juniors, evaluating whether they are on track for higher education.

Nevada's educational system ranked third-lowest in the U.S. for educational quality, student outcomes, and overall school safety, only ahead of Louisiana and Arizona, according to an analysis from the World Population Review.
