Of the 98 White Pine County School District students who took part in the Criterion Referenced Test (CRT) in the 2022-23 school year, 76.5% did not meet science benchmarks, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

This is 3.4% below the statewide average of 79.9%.

White Pine County School District roughly covers schools within White Pine County and has a main office in Ely.

The number of students who failed to meet expectations in the subject rose the previous school year.

In White Pine County School District, most of the students who fell below proficiency were at the lowest performance level.
