Eureka County Education: 12 multiracial students were enrolled in district in 2022-23 school year

There were 12 multiracial students enrolled in Eureka County district in the 2022-23 school year, 20% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Eureka County welcomed a total of 333 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.6% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the county.

Eureka County School District was the only district in the county which enrolled multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
