There were 11 American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled in Eureka County School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 21.4% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Eureka County School District welcomed 333 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian or Alaskan Native students comprised 3.3% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

Eureka County School District roughly covers three schools within Eureka County and has a main office in Eureka.

Among the three schools in Eureka County School District, Eureka County High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian or Alaskan Native students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of nine students.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 15 students.
