White Pine County: 1,456 students were enrolled in 2021-2022

There were 1,456 students enrolled in White Pine County schools in the 2021-2022 school year, 3.8% more than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

The student body was 52% boys and 48% girls.

The most common ethnicity among White Pine County students was White, who represented 71.1% of the student body. The second most-visible ethnicity in White Pine County schools was Hispanic.

David E. Norman Elementary had the highest enrollment among White Pine County 10 schools in the 2021-2022 cycle.

Enrollment in Nevada schools has dropped in recent years, falling nearly 2% in the last four years.

Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 20 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
