In Churchill County, 128 inmates were incarcerated in February, a 9.9 percent decrease from the month before, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Brayden Walker Castillo, a 21-year-old, was the youngest inmate incarcerated in Churchill County in February.

Bobbie Boswell was the oldest at 88-years-old.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada's local jails.

Nevada has an incarceration rate of 713 per 100,000 people, which means it incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world.
