Churchill City recently issued the following announcement.
With rising construction costs and real estate prices, the Assessor’s Office would like to remind all Churchill County residents to complete and return their Property Tax Cap Claim Forms by June 15, 2022. Returning this form will ensure that the property taxes on your primary residence will be capped at a 3% increase (for further information, see back of form). Please note, your property taxes are capped, not your assessed value.
