White Pine County has launched its annual Winter Coat Drive, seeking donations of new or gently used coats and winter accessories. The drive runs through January 30th, with collection points at the New Courthouse and the White Pine County Sheriff’s Office.

Organizers say that all donated items will go to local families in need during the colder months. “Every item you donate helps a local family stay cozy all season long!” the announcement states.

The county encourages residents to participate by bringing their winter gear to one of the designated drop-off locations before the end of January.
