Elko County had one gas station selling premium gas at the lowest price of $2.53 per gallon during the week ending Dec. 20, 2025, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $3.37 per gallon.
Elko County had 16 of 37 reported gas stations offering premium gas.
Across Nevada, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas fell to $3.97, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
