White Pine County: How many students were enrolled in White Pine High School in 2023-24 school year?

White Pine High School had the highest enrollment among White Pine County schools, welcoming 377 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students enrolled, 51.2% of them were girls, and 48.8% were boys.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 70% of White Pine High School's total enrollment.

Among the 10 schools in White Pine County, David E. Norman Elementary ranked second in enrollment numbers with 362 students, while White Pine Middle School welcomed 248 students and ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

White Pine High School is part of White Pine County School District, which roughly covers schools within White Pine County and has a main office in Ely.

In the previous school year, David E. Norman Elementary had the highest number of students among White Pine County schools.

Nevada's educational system ranked third-lowest in the U.S. for educational quality, student outcomes, and overall school safety, only ahead of Louisiana and Arizona, according to an analysis from the World Population Review.
