Eureka County had three non-Hispanic white individuals incarcerated in January, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

This is the same amount as the month before.

Steven Don Barrack, a 40-year-old non-Hispanic white man, was the youngest inmate in Eureka County in January.

Overall, local jails in the county had three people incarcerated as of January.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada's local jails.

Nevada has an incarceration rate of 610 per 100,000 people, which means it incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world — except for the United States.
