How many students were enrolled in Pershing County schools for the 2022-23 school year?

There were 663 students enrolled in Pershing County schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.9% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.

The most common ethnicity among Pershing County students was white, which represented 47.8% of the student body. The second most common ethnicity in the county was Hispanic (33.6%).

Lovelock Elementary School stood out with the highest enrollment among Pershing County in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 314 students.

Enrollment in Nevada schools has dropped in recent years, falling nearly 2% in the last four years.

Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
