Humboldt County School District Education: 3,311 students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 3,311 students enrolled in Humboldt County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.4% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.3% of them were boys, and 48.7% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 54.2% of the Humboldt County School District's total enrollment.

Humboldt County School District roughly covers 11 schools within Humboldt County and has a main office in Winnemucca.

Among the 11 schools in Humboldt County School District, Albert M. Lowry High School recorded the highest enrollment of 947 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 15 students.
