How many inmates were incarcerated in Eureka County during January?

In Eureka County, two inmates were incarcerated in January, the same as the month before, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Steven Don Barrack, a 39-year-old, was the youngest inmate incarcerated in Eureka County in January.

Joseph L. Thorson was the oldest at 50-years-old.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada's local jails.

Nevada has an incarceration rate of 713 per 100,000 people, which means it incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world.
