How many students were enrolled in Lander County schools for the 2021-2022?

There were 1,030 students enrolled in Lander County schools in the 2021-2022 school year, 1.0% more than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

The student body was 52.5% boys and 47.5% girls.

The most common ethnicity among Lander County students was White, who represented 59.4% of the student body. The second most-visible ethnicity in Lander County schools was Hispanic.

Battle Mountain Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Lander County four schools in the 2021-2022 cycle.

Enrollment in Nevada schools has dropped in recent years, falling nearly 2% in the last four years.

Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 20 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
