How many inmates were incarcerated in Eureka County during Q2?

In Eureka County, four inmates were incarcerated in the second quarter of 2023, unchanged from the quarter before, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Levi Mitchell Joseph Bell, a 33-year-old, was the youngest inmate sentenced in Eureka County in the second quarter of 2023.

Joseph L. Thorson was the oldest at 50-years-old.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada's local jails.

Nevada has an incarceration rate of 713 per 100,000 people, which means it incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world.
