The new rate for water and sewer services will go into effect May 1, 2022, for the utility bill due on June 10, 2022. The Carlin City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2022-03, increasing the Water Fee from $32.22 to $43.52, the Sewer Fee from $29.85 to $43.72, and to decrease the Landfill Fee from $14.30 to $9.30 per trash can. The Street Light Fee of $2.38 remains unchanged.
On May 1, 2022, the new residential rate for Water, Sewer, Landfill, and Street Lights will be $98.92 for one trash can, and $108.22 for two trash cans.
This rate adjustment will help ensure the reliability and availability of high-quality drinking water and wastewater management throughout the City of Carlin.
