Eric Trujillo Receives 5 Year Service Award

On Monday November 7, 2002, Eric Trujillo, Public Works Technician 2 received his 5 year service award by City Manager Chris Melville.

Eric began working for the City in October of 2017 as a facilities Custodian and was then promoted to Public Works Technician 2 in 2019, the position he currently serves in.   You will often see Eric around the community on a daily basis behind the wheel of one of the city's large commercial garbage trucks.   Though he holds a busy schedule, he always has time to give you a smile and a waive and wish you a good day.   "Eric is one of those individuals who has a very cheerful attitude", said Chris Melville City Manager.  "Regardless of the task, he puts his efforts into it to get it accomplished and does it with a smile and is ready for the next challenge."

In addition to his service plaque, he also received a service pin designed with the City Seal.  The pin reflects the employee's years of service with a star for every five years they have served.  As well, Eric received a $25 Smith's Food Store Gift

Thanks Eric for being part of our great team at the City.  Keep up the good work!
