Dozens of Graduates with Perfect Attendance Compete for New Car in Annual Giveaway

Washoe

For the 14th consecutive year, Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda will award a new car to a graduating senior from Washoe County schools who achieved perfect attendance during their senior year. More than 60 eligible students were informed earlier this month that their names would be entered in the drawing. The winning student will receive a 2022 Honda Civic of their choice.

Sixty-four students from the Washoe County School District (WCSD) and four students from Bishop Manogue Catholic High School achieved perfect attendance during the 2021-2022 school year and their names will be entered in this year’s contest.

“This is an event all of us at Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda enjoy every year,” said Sandy Raffealli, owner of Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda. “Our high school students who achieve perfect attendance each year have worked hard to stay in class and continue their learning through the entire school year. They’ve kept up with their classes and committed themselves to excellence, and we are proud of their progress. We’re happy to provide them with the opportunity to win a brand-new car.”

Students who are competing to win the car must attend the drawing at Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the drawing will be held at 11:30 a.m.

Sponsors include Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda, Reno Media Group, Univision, and Sinclair Broadcast Group (KRNV, KRXI, KNSN).
