The City of Winnemucca is proud to celebrate the 246th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence on Monday, July 4, 2022, at the Ralph Whitworth Recreation Complex, beginning at 9:00 pm (ish)
The City recently acquired a new rack system designed specifically for aerial fireworks displays and this will be the second time the system has been used.
While the weather forecast for the holiday weekend calls for highs in the high 90’s with partial clouds, remember: the weather in North Central Nevada still confounds the best prognosticators. As a general desert rule, it cools off rapidly once the sun goes down so plan accordingly.
