D&D Plumbing Brings Water To Rafter 3C Arena

Plumbing

County of Churchill recently issued the following announcement.

With offices in Sparks and Fallon, D&D Plumbing was a natural pick to provide plumbing for the Rafter 3C Arena.

Involved in the concept and final design of the plumbing system, D&D furnished and installed all interior plumbing including water fountains, toilets, sinks and installed water lines to exterior hose bibs and the heating and cooling (HVAC) system.

They also installed gas lines for the HVAC and kitchen facilities.

“Their field crews were great to work with and receptive to any changes in design,” said Chris Spross, Churchill County’s public works and planning director who served as the general contractor for the Rafter 3C Arena. “They did the required redesign work and were quick to respond to the site when issues arose.”

D&D Plumbing’s contract for the Rafter 3C Arena was $712,000.

The Rafter 3C Arena has a kitchen and concession areas with sinks, an exhaust hood and stainless steel food prep countertops. Event organizers will be able to hire or bring in their own food service vendors to feed their crowds.

Restrooms for men, women and families are located on both ends of the concourse.

For more than 40 years, D&D Plumbing has specialized in plumbing and heating work in the residential, commercial, and industrial fields. In addition, D&D has a service department for remodels, repair, and service work. As a plumbing and mechanical contractor licensed in California and Nevada, D&D acts as a subcontractor and prime contractor on design build projects and plan and specification jobs.
