City of Carlin recently issued the following announcement.
In January and February 2022, the Carlin City Council will be reviewing a possible rate increase presented by the City Engineer.
Public comment opportunities include:
1) January 26, 2022 City Council Meeting, 7PM. The City Engineer will present the City Council on the on the proposed utility rate increases through 2026. There is an action item on the agenda to direct staff to draft an Ordinance and/or Resolution to amend the water and sewer rates.
2) February 9, 2022 City Council Meeting, 7PM. There will be another opportunity for the City Council to hear public comments regarding a possible rate increase.
3) February 23, 2022 City Council Meeting, 7PM. The City Council will review and possibly approve a Resolution to amend water and sewer rates.
