Churchill County Recognizes Employees for Service, Swears In Cemetery Board Members

Churchill City recently issued the following announcement.

At its meeting this afternoon, the County Commissioners recognized two county employees and three citizens willing to serve their community.

Honored for their years of service to this community were:

  • Anthony Laca, Road Department for 10 years of service 
  • Linda Rothery, Clerk/Treasurer for 20 years of service
Each quarter, the Commissioners present plaques and lapel pins to employees for every five years of service to our local community. The next quarterly recognition event will be at the Commissioners’ meeting on March 16, 2022.

Three women selected to serve on the Cemetery Board were sworn in by Deputy Clerk Pam Moore. Hillary “Page” Hiskett, Julie Gilmore and Jaimie Sammons took their oath and will serve four-year, three-year and two-year terms, respectively.
