County of Elko recently issued the following announcement.
Elko County has begun accepting applications for its annual Sugar Plum Tree for Christmas Gift Assistance for Elko County Children and Seniors.
You can pick up applications at 540 Court Street, Second Floor in Elko or fill out the attached.

Required information:
- Identification for everyone in the household including children.
- Verification of income for the last 30 days.
Accepting application through December 17, 2021.
The Sugar Plum Tree is located at the Elko County Library located at 720 Court Street in Elko for anyone interested in adopting someone off the tree.
