Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital issued the following announcement on October 16.
Staff from Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, student nurses from Great Basin College and community volunteers pose with hospital mascot “Ned the Needle” during the annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic last Saturday.
A total of 701 people received a free flu shot at the event. Attendees were asked to donate canned food, and volunteers collected 1,557 pounds’ worth which was distributed to local food banks.
