Churchill City issued the following announcement.
Churchill County Public Health has developed a vaccine incentive program to encourage county residents to obtain full vaccination from COVID-19.
Full vaccination is defined as receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
The county’s public health team will hold a drawing for cash for county residents who are fully vaccinated by Aug. 28 and announce the winners at the Cantaloupe Festival.
Simply snap a photo, or scan a copy of your completed vaccine card and email it along with your contact information to: churchillcovid@churchillcounty.org by 3 p.m. on Aug. 28 to be eligible to win one of the following cash incentives:
- One $5000 prize
- One $3000 prize
- Two $2000 prizes
- Two $1500 prizes
- Two $1000 prizes
- Three $500 prizes
- Six $250 prizes
- Be a Churchill County resident (excluding City of Fallon and Churchill County elected or appointed officials and county Social Services Department employees)
- Receive the full COVID vaccination as defined above
- Minors 12 and older may enter with parental consent
- Email a copy of your vaccination card and contact information to churchillcovid@churchillcounty.org no later than 3 p.m. on August 28, 2021.
