Elko County ranked second in Nevada for resident earnings in 2019

Elko County ranked second among counties in Nevada by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Elko County residents was $39,350 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 18,065 households with a population of 52,297.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Lander County with $39,984 per year after adjusting for inflation – $634 more than Elko County. It had 2,198 households with a population of 5,643.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Mineral County with $24,316 per year after adjusting for inflation – $15,034 less than Elko County. It had 2,048 households with a population of 4,460.
