In the week ending Jan. 3, one gas station in Pershing County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $3.15 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $3.17 per gallon.

Of the eight reported gas stations located within Pershing County, two offered regular gas.

Statewide, regular gas averaged $3.32 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, down from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
