Enrollment Analysis: Multiracial students comprised 3.5% of Humboldt County’s district student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 115 multiracial students enrolled in Humboldt County district in the 2022-23 school year, 9.5% more than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Humboldt County welcomed a total of 3,311 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.5% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the county.

Humboldt County School District was the only district in the county which enrolled multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
