Of the four students involved in safety incidents at Eureka County schools, 100% of them were boys, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal. This is 37.2% more than the state’s average of 62.8%.
The number of Eureka County boys involved in criminal activity at school grew by 100% compared to the previous year.
Eureka County High School was the only school in the county that reported boys getting in trouble, reaching four total incidents in the 2022-23 school year.
Parents have raised concerns about increasing crime in Nevada schools.
